OUTLOOK SYNC Easily sync your Services and Absences with your calendar on Outlook!

 

Now you can easily sync your Services and absences with the Outlook calendar. For example, you can schedule S1 mobile TODAYtraining for members in your team and they will be able to see these events on their calendars in Outlook.
This also makes it easier for employees to organize their daily schedule according to it.
Services and Absences are synced with the Salesforce Event object
which is fully synced (create, update, delete) with the Calendar event
in Outlook and is updateable both ways.

PREDICTIVE ROUTING Take travel time calculation to the next level by factoring in travel speeds at different times of the day.

 

With this amazing new feature, FieldExpert can now calculate travel times using a special predictive object which reflects the different travel factors throughout each day. This means traffic, road construction and planned road closures can be taken into account.Picture2

It works with a predictive travel matrix which consists of time factors you can update, and these reflect the behavior and fluctuation of travel speeds throughout the day.

Predictive routing is applied also in the appointment booking process so your CSRs now get recommendations for the best appointment slots based on the traffic to the customer’s location. For example, the CSR will offer the customer an appointment when the traffic to his\her location is minimal.

It is called a ‘Predictive Matrix’ because you can predict the traffic levels and update the matrix accordingly on an ongoing basis learning from actual travel time in the field.

Now you can specify exactly which locations each employee will be servicing. This brings easy and intuitive control for managers who want to designate their employees to work in specific locations only.

This enables business scenarios of multi stage services like PUDOs (Pick Up – Drop Off) so that you can be sure that FieldExpert maintains the right relationships while scheduling. For instance,

the person who picks up the part will be the same person that installs it later on in the day. Bringing this information into the travel route minimization process can have a big impact on travel savings each day.

 

 


 

OVERTIME SCHEDULING Add rules and objectives to control the amount of overtime you allow and minimize it where possible

Easily specify what overtime hours mean for each employee in his calendar and control when your planners and schedulers are allowed to schedule services in overtime hours by updating the Resource Availability Rule and enabling overtime scheduling.

CRITERIA BASED POLICY Some rules only apply to certain locations or employees.

 

This amazing new feature allows you to create relevance groups for the different rules in the system. Relevance groups are basically groups of employees or services who share the same logic. For example, you can specify that a group of employees in one area are allowed to work in overtime hours while other groups will see a rule violation if scheduled after hours.
